Managed and Unmanaged SEO Bundle:

What’s the Difference?

Looking at our SEO Bundle plan? Can’t decide between our managed and unmanaged SEO Bundle?

There’s a clear price difference between unmanaged and managed ($99/mo on most plans), but it’s not a good idea to make your decision on cost alone. Picking the wrong plan could cost you in time and effectiveness in the long run.

Of course our actual SEO services are 100% provided by us on all plans, however there are some differences in the level of personal service offered when running reports, managing reviews and managing social media.

Key Managed and Unmanaged SEO Bundle Differences

When it comes to our SEO Bundle, think of management as your outsourced staff. On a managed SEO Bundle package, we manage every problem or task, emergency or routine. We prepare all reports, manage and monitor the reputation management of your business, including integrating widgets on your website and work with you to manage your social media postings. There’s a limit, obviously, in that you may not get support for a coding problem on your blog. But your dashboard and the setup process and any widget installations are all managed – supported, in other words.

The unmanaged SEO Bundle is cheaper because there’s no regular management – i.e. no routine support. Again to be clear, all SEO related services are 100% included in all plans and we will maintain the dashboard and make sure everything is functional, but unmanaged service does not include installation of widgets or running reports for you. We provide you an amazing set of tools in your dashboard for you to maintain and control. Please note, if you get stuck on unmanaged SEO Bundle, we are available to help 24/7. We still provide a limited amount of support, in the form of a limited number of hours.

The Pros and Cons of the Unmanaged SEO Bundle

The unmanaged SEO Bundle gives you complete control: sole access and total freedom, just as though your dashboard were your own computer. Unmanaged services are significantly cheaper than managed services, so if you’re comfortable with your learning a new, easy to use user interface, it’s a no brainer.

But if you’ll struggle with computers, or do not really have the time to manage your company’s reputation and social media on top of all of your other tasks, then a managed solution may be best for you.

Managed SEO Bundle is far less work and requires little expertise. You still have access to our amazing dashboard, but you don’t have to worry about running reports or managing reviews.

Which Solution is for You?

Everyone’s different, so we can’t give you a one-size-fits-all answer.

Ask yourself these questions:

Could you deal with problems installing widgets on your website, or do you have dedicated personnel for this?
Are you comfortable learning new user interfaces?
Do you really need unfettered access?
Is the price difference worth the extra work?

If you’re not sure what to do, ask yourself – What’s important to you: low cost, or fewer maintenance tasks?.

And if you do sign up a long unmanaged SEO Bundle contract and later have doubts about your ability to handle the workload solo, keep in mind that you can always add management services at a later date.
